Relished Meal Delivery Giveaway

I received a free box from Relished to review. However, all opinions are entirely my own.

As a mom of three boys, my life is pretty darn crazy. Between this blog, attempting to keep the house in a somewhat livable, non-hoarders state, getting kids to all of their activities and the other random, everyday chaos that defines my life these days, sometimes coming up with easy, healthy dinner options, {not to mention finding time to shop for the ingredients} is the last thing I can handle in a day. I’m slightly ashamed to admit how often my kids eat delivery or take out, frozen chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese from a box.

Which is why I was so excited to discover Relished, a meal delivery service that provides fresh ingredients and recipes delivered directly to your doorstep. The chefs at Relished create a new menu every week and deliver a portioned ingredient kit filled with the fresh, locally-sourced food you need to create a delicious meal, as well as step-by-step instructions on exactly how to prepare each dish.

The full-color instruction sheets also include information on prep time, calories per serving, drink pairing suggestions and instructions on how to plate the dish to make you feel like a professional chef.

I mean, seriously. I have mentioned previously that I am not the cook in this house. That’s Dave; I’m the baker. {Also, see above comment regarding boxed macaroni and cheese and frozen pizza.} I do not generally make dishes like Lamb Meatballs with Creamy Polenta and Tomato Ragout. And yet I did. And it looked like this.

How about Quinoa and Roasted Vegetable Salad with Pan Seared Chicken? Boom.

Or Panko Crusted Cod with Roasted Baby Carrots and Asparagus? Okay!

Here’s how the service works:

You check out the new menu offerings posted each week prepared by Relished’s executive chefs. You can order up to 5 meals per week, and up to 6 servings per meal. And at $9.95 per serving, that’s less than going out to dinner or grabbing takeout — and you get the added bonus of providing your family with a delicious, home-cooked meal. You can easily skip weeks, as long as you let them know by Friday at noon, and you can cancel at anytime.

Once you’ve ordered, you will receive precisely portioned ingredients for each recipe, delivered right to your door. I will admit, I was a little leery of how meats and fish would be packaged and delivered, but when I opened the box, all fears were gone.

The ingredients were packed in individual, labeled bags for each meal, and everything was shipped in an insulated box.

When you’re ready to cook, just grab one of the bags and unpack the ingredients.

Again, everything is perfectly prepped and portioned {read: no chopping vegetables! Yay!}, so getting dinner ready takes almost no time at all.

We got our first Relished delivery the week after my mother-in-law’s funeral, when we weren’t really all that into meal planning or cooking. It was so nice to have these ingredients prepped and ready to go in the fridge, which meant that we could have dinner on the table in about half an hour.

If you want to try Relished for yourself, today is your lucky day. They are letting me give away a free 3-meal, 2 servings per meal Relished box! To enter, use the Rafflecopter widget below. As if that wasn’t good enough, if you enter the code EndlesslyInspired when you order before the end of March, you’ll get 60% off your first Relished order! And when you place your order, if you enter my email address — jenn@endlesslyinspired.com — in the referral field, we’ll both get a $30 Relished credit!

*Note: Relished delivery is now available to over half of the United States {anywhere east of the Colorado River, with the exception of most of Florida and Maine}.
