Hi everyone, I’m Barb Camp and I blog over at Second Chance to Dream. I live in Northern Michigan with my hubby of 37 years and my 15-year-old twin boys, Carson and Connor. We also have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I love to create, and you can almost always find some kind of evidence of that creating at any moment in my house. I am a life coach and my desire is to see women live their life to their full potential both spiritually and creatively! Please stop by and say hi!

I’m very excited to be invited by Jenn to share in her 31 Days of Halloween. I’m sharing a Dollar Store Halloween wreath with you all. I love the challenge of creating decor very inexpensively. You can’t beat the Dollar Store for inexpensive!

Use some inexpensive Dollar Store supplies to make a cute and creepy Halloween wreath! #31DaysofHalloween

What do you do with a pool noodle, 2 pairs of knee high Halloween socks, a felt spider web and some ribbon?? Why of course, you make a wreath!

Halloween wreath supplies

When I was at the Dollar Tree I saw this cute felt spider web with a purple spider on it. I quickly snagged it up because I knew I could make something really cute out of it. I found the cute Halloween knee high socks at Goodwill for $1.00 each, and I had bought a pool noodle in the summer at the Dollar store and saved it for a wreath project. Dollar Tree also had some cute 3″ purple ribbon that I bought.

To make the wreath I took the socks and cut the socks off at the heel and the toe {for more details on exactly how I did this, click here}. I slid the socks onto the noodle. Once all four socks were placed on the noodle, I taped it into a circle and adjusted the socks to cover evenly.

I cut a piece of ribbon and tied it in a knot at the top and then glued the felt web to the sock-covered noodle. I took a bag of orange and black spider rings from the Dollar Tree, cut the ring part off and hot glued those onto the web.

I thought the wreath needed a little touch of  green, so I cut some green circles out of a piece of green glittered paper and hot glued those on around the edges.

Second Chance to Dream: Finished Dollar Store Wreath

I love this wreath because it was quick and easy — it only took about 20 minutes — and only cost about $6. And look how cute it is!
