If I say “paper mache,” what do you think of? Covering a balloon in newspaper soaked in a goopy mess to make your own pinata? Or a globe that you paint for geography class? That’s my memory of paper mache from when I was little. I always thought it was the coolest thing ever. But I hadn’t done it in probably 30 years, until now.
How cool is that? This is paper mache all grown up, people. You can use paper scraps and Mod Podge to create your own one-of-a-kind paper mache bowl for a fun fall centerpiece.
Or why stop at fall? This would be amazing made out of Christmas scrapbook or wrapping paper, too! I love it.
