So I have a bit of a secret for you today: I am turning 40 this year. **GASP!!**

I really don’t even know how that’s possible, because I feel like I just turned 30. Hell, I feel like I just turned 20. And the funny thing is, I have never before felt apprehensive about turning a certain age until now. When I turned 30, it wasn’t a big deal at all. But 40? That’s a whole different story.

I keep having these random thoughts about getting older, and it freaks me out. I also feel like for the first time ever, I am starting to look a little old, and I am kicking myself for not taking better care of my skin when I was younger. And let’s not even get into what this winter has done to my skin. It’s just not pretty.

When thinking about an anti-aging skin care regimen, it's important to think of the whole body, not just the face! #HeartYourSkin #ad

I just started using a super-expensive skin care regimen for my face, and when my friend, who is a distributor for those products, asked me what my current skin care regimen was, I said, “Um… sometimes I rub my hands over my face in the shower? And then I usualy slap some type of moisturizer on when I get out?”

Unfortunately, I’m starting to realize that this isn’t cutting it these days. So, like I said, I invested a ton of money in some products for my face, and I’ve been pretty happy with it so far. But I think a lot of people focus so much on their face that they forget that the rest of their body is getting older too.

So I wanted to try to find something I could use on the rest of my body. But here’s the thing: I don’t like spending a ton of money on things. And it physically pained me to spend $200 on facial skin care products, so I cannot bring myself spend a ton on products for the rest of me.

Which is why I was super intrigued when I was at Walmart the other day and noticed a whole new line of anti-aging body lotions from NO-AD — and they’re all under $6 a piece!

I’ve used NO-AD products before, so I was eager to give these a shot. There are two varieties, NO-AD Prevent & Repair™ and NO-AD Prevent & Brighten™, and both contain vitamins, antioxidants and SPF 15 protection. They both come in 6.5 oz spray and 12 oz pump lotions. I personally love the spray lotion. Mainly because I am lazy, and it takes about 3 seconds to moisturize with a spray lotion.

So now, I’ve started to focus a bit more on taking care of my skin on the rest of my body, not just my face. I’ve been trying to work on drinking more water, and in the shower, I have been using a moisturizing body scrub to exfoliate. And when I get out, I immediately moisturize with the NO-AD Prevent & Brighten spray lotion. I’ve been doing this for a couple of weeks now, and I really feel like it’s making a difference. My skin is definitely much softer and smoother!
