S’mores Popcorn

At the beginning of the summer, the boys and I went to a local farm to pick strawberries. After we were done, we walked around the little store looking at all of the fun items they sell there and we found a bag of little dehydrated marshmallows. So yeah, those came home with us. Connor kept asking me what we were going to do with them, and I said it didn’t matter. I mean, tiny crunchy marshmallows. I will shovel them into my face as-is. I ain’t skeered.

But the little punk kept pushing me to make something with them, so I decided that I would make some S’mores Popcorn.

If you don’t have a cute little local farm that sells dehydrated marshmallows, you can sometimes get them at the grocery store near the regular marshmallows/marshmallow fluff. You can also get them on Amazon. {And in case you have a need for them, you can get yourself a 40 pound case. Seriously. 40 pounds of Lucky Charms marshmallows. Because who wouldn’t need that??}

But anyway, back to the s’mores popcorn.

It’s so easy, it’s kind of ridiculous. You don’t even need to make your own popcorn. I used microwave popcorn, but you could use a store-bought bag if you want. I won’t judge.

Just put the popcorn on a sheet pan or in a large bowl or plastic container, and drizzle on some melted chocolate. I used milk chocolate candy melts, because those set up really nicely.

Sprinkle on your dried marshmallows and some broken-up graham crackers, mix it up, let it set, and there you have it.

That’s seriously all there is to it.

I think the hardest part of the entire process is trying not to eat the entire batch yourself.

I may or may not have been successful in that regard. Let’s pretend I was, just so I don’t feel ashamed.
