As weird as it sounds, cakes and cupcakes are not my favorite thing to eat — or make, for that matter. When I was little, a lot of times I asked my mom to make me an apple pie instead of a birthday cake. So today I wanted to share some fabulous ideas of alternative birthday treats — no traditional cakes or cupcakes here!
