Pipe some white chocolate laces on snack-sized Mounds candy bars for an easy and fun tailgating treat!
I’m so excited that it’s football season! I talked recently about how much we love football in our house, and how I’m going to resurrect my Tailgating Tuesday series that I started last fall.
So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the first Tailgating Tuesday recipe post of 2014: Mounds Footballs.
This also may end up being the easiest recipe of 2014. Just so you know.
I love slapping some white chocolate or icing laces on something chocolate, and BAM! you’ve got yourself a football. I did it last year with my Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Footballs, and I’m doing it today with Mounds candy bars.
These are awesome because they’re even sort of football shaped to begin with, so once you get the laces on there, they are ridiculously perfect and adorable.
I started with snack-sized Mounds bars. Just unwrap them, and pipe on white chocolate laces using the method I demonstrated here.
That’s literally all there is to it. In less than 5 minutes, you have an adorable tailgating treat!
What about you? Do you love football too, or do you become a football widow in the fall?

I’m excited for football season, yay! My brother would love these bite sized yummies. I’m allergic to coconut, I know – how does that happen when him & I are twins! Happy Wednesday!
