I love the idea of popsicles during the summer as much as the next kid person, and I’m not a crazy all-health-food-all-the-time person {FAR from it, actually!}, but I do like the idea of the boys having somewhat healthy snacks/treats/desserts every once in a while.
That’s where these frozen yogurt pops come in.
They are beyond words easy, and they turn out SO delicious.
Here’s what you need {prepare yourself, it’s a long list. Go ahead, get a pen. I’ll wait.}:
Popsicle molds
Yogurt
Yep, that’s it.
Just pour the yogurt right out of the cup into the mold. {The already blended yogurt works a bit better than the fruit-on-the-bottom kind, but if that’s all you have, no biggy. Just stir it up in the cup before you pour it into the molds.} One 6 oz. yogurt cup perfectly fills two of the reservoirs in my popsicle molds.
Then, just pop the sticks in, throw those bad boys into the freezer and wait for the frozen deliciousness {they should take about 4 to 6 hours to freeze completely}. If you are using multiple kinds of yogurt, you can use a dry erase marker to write the flavor right on the popsicle mold.
That’s it!
In our house, “Popsicles” is a much more well-received answer to the question “What’s for dessert?” than “yogurt,” so these are a great way to do your tricky-mom thing!
