On Monday I talked about how I just became a Beachbody coach, so today I am sharing with you one of my super-fab new healthy recipes. {Don’t worry, I’ve got a whole lotta fatty fat recipes in the works — they’ll be coming soon!}
This one is for a Berrylicious Shakeology Protein Shake.
If you’ve never heard of Shakeology, it’s a superfood-packed, nutrient-dense shake that can help you lose weight, curb your cravings for sweets and act as a meal replacement or snack.
I will be 100% honest here: when I first tried it, I wasn’t a huge fan. But my coach and a bunch of other people I talked to all loved it, so I decided to give it another shot and I ordered a sample pack of all 3 flavors. I think the first ones I tried must have gone bad, because I tried it again, and now I get why everyone goes crazy for it. The vanilla and strawberry are my favorites, but the recipe I’m sharing with you today uses the Greenberry flavor {although you could also use strawberry or vanilla!}.
Now, please note: This post is not an advertisement for Shakeology. If you use it, great, try this recipe out. If you don’t use it but want to try it, give it a shot and let me know what you think. If you don’t, that’s totally fine too, you could use just regular ol’ protein powder. No biggie.
This is a similar recipe to my Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Shake I shared a few weeks ago. It also contains cottage cheese. I’m telling you, it may sound crazy and kinda gross, but it’s amazing and delicious and you won’t believe it when you try it. And it’s super easy — just throw everything in a blender and whip this bad boy up.
I used fresh strawberries and blueberries, because I had some on hand, but if all you have is frozen, go ahead and use those.
