So here’s the thing. I am generally not a huge fan of Greek yogurt. There, I said it.
Everyone is totally all gung ho about Greek yogurt, but there’s just something about it that tastes funky to me. But I know it’s so good for you, so I keep trying it. And not liking it.
Until now. I decided I was going to try a different brand this time, and when I saw Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! at the grocery store, I decided to give them a shot.
And something crazy happened: I full-on loved them. Like LOVED them, loved them.
The Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! are a light and fluffy fat free yogurt mousse, with just 100 calories and 9 grams of protein. They come in 8 flavors, but I decided to try the strawberry.
It was so good that I decided to grab some strawberries and granola and whip up a fruit and yogurt dessert parfait. I know most people eat fruit and yogurt parfaits for breakfast, but I’m telling you, this is good enough for dessert.
For even more fruity goodness, I got some granola that had freeze-dried strawberries, raspberries and blueberries in it.
Start by putting half the cup of yogurt in the bottom of a glass. Top with some sliced fruit {I used strawberries} and then some granola. Repeat those layers until you reach the top of the glass, and then dive in.
When I made these parfaits for the boys for dessert, David went on and on about how good it was. I told him it was Greek yogurt, and he said: “But I don’t like Greek yogurt!!”
So I am telling you, people: even if you don’t like Greek yogurt, you need to try these Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! If this parfait isn’t your speed, then check out the Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! recipe page for more ideas.
