Welcome to Day 4 of the 31 Days of Halloween!
I absolutely hate spiders. Well, I pretty much hate anything with more than four legs, but spiders especially. They creep me out, and I hate them. David and Connor have actually started killing spiders for me when they find them in our house because they know I will freak out if I see them. Love my boys.
I even get skeeved out by toy spiders. I don’t know if I think they’re going to magically come to life and attack me or what, but I don’t like to touch them.
Although for Halloween, I put on my big girl pants and make an exception, because I love creepy at Halloween.
I made this creepy-cool spider web pillow in about 2 minutes today, and I love it.
I almost feel guilty calling this a tutorial, it’s so easy.
Take a pillow — bonus points if you use one you already have! — and a skein of black embroidery floss. Wrap the floss around the pillow once and tie it to secure. Then, just keep wrapping until you’re happy with the way it looks and tie it off again in the back.
Add on a fake spider {I used a spider ring}, and you’re done!
Cute, fun, practically-free Halloween decor in minutes!
