I honestly don’t know how teachers do it.
I am often reduced to an exhausted, yelling mess by the end of the day, and I only have to deal with my 3 kids. I would never, in a bajillion years, have the patience to deal with 20 kids every day, let alone do it with sweetness and grace like my kids’ teachers have this year. {And pretty much every year, for that matter.}
So now that we’re coming up on the end of the year, I want to give the teachers a little something to show how much they are appreciated. My go-to gift for the past several years has been my day in the sun gift bags, but this year, they won’t work — Mason’s teacher got one from us a few years ago when she was Connor’s teacher, and Connor’s teacher got one a few years ago when she was David’s teacher. So blah.
As I was looking for ideas of gifts to give this year, I found so many amazing ideas that I decided to compile them into the Ultimate DIY Teacher Gift Collection — 48 amazing, easy-to-make gifts that your teachers are sure to love. Plus, I realized that most collections of teacher gifts tend to forget that kids can have male teachers, too! So I included 12 creative ideas at the end if your teacher is a man. {Note: some of them were originally intended to be Father’s Day gifts, so you may notice that a few may say “Dad” — just switch those up to say “Teacher” or your teacher’s name, and you’re good to go!}
I am currently working on my gifts for this year {using one of the ideas in this collection as inspiration! Any guesses on which one??}, so I’ll share those later this week. In the meantime, take a look at these gorgeous gifts — hopefully one of them will inspire you!
Note: I have compiled these tutorials from some of my favorite blogs and websites. To pin any of these individual tutorials, please click on the appropriate link below each photo and pin from the original source. To pin the entire collection, use the photo above. Thank you!
