So here’s a little thing about me: if I see something useful but hideous, I immediately bust right on into makeover mode. I can’t help it. It’s why I love thrift stores and antique shops and ReStore.
One of my most recent ugly-but-needed makeovers was on some TV trays. I feel like everyone has some, and if you don’t, you can always find them at thrift stores.
I decided that the paint-splattered, honey-colored wood trays no longer had a place in my house, so I went a little nuts with some spray paint and wrapping paper.
