Ingredients

For each burger

  • 1 plain bagel
  • 1 Tbsp. Miracle Whip
  • 6 oz. breakfast sausage
  • 2 tsp. Kraft Philly cream cheese
  • 1 Kraft single
  • 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Lightly toast bagel and spread with Miracle Whip.
  • 2. Take approximately 4 oz. of the sausage and form into a thick patty. Press down on the center, creating a bit of a pocket. Place cream cheese in pocket and cover patty with remaining sausage, pressing down well on the edges to make sure it's sealed.
  • 3. Place burger in skillet and cook uncovered for 4 minutes, then cover and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Flip and cook uncovered for 4 minutes, then top with Kraft Single and cover. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove burger from skillet and cover loosely with an aluminum foil tent to keep warm. Drain grease from skillet, but keep any brown bits that are on the bottom of the pan.
  • 4. Melt butter in skillet and carefully crack egg into the melted butter. Cook for 1 minute, then place pan in oven for 2 minutes. This will ensure a perfectly cooked white while still keeping a runny yolk.
  • 5. Place burger on bottom half of bagel and top with egg and other half of bagel. Enjoy!
