Tuna Cakes

Tuna Cakes are a delicious, quick and easy weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 pouches {5 oz. each} Bumble BeeĀ® Premium Light Tuna in Water
  • 1/2 c panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp seafood seasoning {I used Old Bay}
  • 1 Tbsp canola oil

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a medium bowl, mix together egg and mayonnaise until well blended. Add in tuna, panko bread crumbs and seafood seasoning and fold to combine thoroughly. Form tuna mixture into 4 patties.
  • 2. Heat canola oil in a large cast-iron or nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place patties in pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Notes

Note: If you'd like to make the tuna mixture ahead of time, place tuna mixture or uncooked patties into the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Then, cook as instructed.
