Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Blondies

A slightly spicy version of a chocolate chip blondie with a hint of cinnamon.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups lightly packed brown sugar
  • 5 Tbsp butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste {or vanilla extract}
  • 1 cup chopped American Heritage Chocolate

Instructions
 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9" x 13" baking pan. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • 2. In a large bowl, beat the brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until blended. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the brown sugar mixture and beat until combined. Stir in chocolate. Spread into prepared pan.
  • 3. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan. When cool, cut into bars.
